BDS Suspension’s Answer to Stock Lift
Leveling kits are great additions to improve your 2016 Tacoma’s suspension and driving ability, but adding a lift kit could really take your truck to the next level. The BDS complete 6″ Lift Kit for the 2016 4WD Tacoma gives your truck a towering ride height, the ability to fit on up to 33″ tires, and unprecedented strength to hold up to just about any application, terrain, and climate. In addition to a mighty 6″ front lift, the kit also adds 4″ of suspension in the rear of your truck as well. The kit comes with everything you need for installation for the ultimate off-road capability.
Includes Coilovers with Crossmembers and Drop Brackets
The 2016 Tacoma 6″ lift kit from BDS includes a complete set of front-end lift kit hardware that brings up your front ride height while correcting your suspension and drivetrain hardware for a proper ride and performance. Each of these kits provides its proper ride height by using a pair of Fox Standard 2.5 Coilovers. These shocks feature external reservoirs for increased oil cooling capacity as well as nitrogen volume for a better ride. The lift kit also comes with a pair of CNC machined, ductile iron steering knuckles which are heavier and stronger than cheap stock components. These knuckles work within factory traction control constraints and still give you handling as good as your stock Tacoma. The kit also comes with front and rear crossmembers relocate your truck’s lower control arms to a proper position. The steel plate crossmembers are bridged by a skid plate which helps keep your differential protected from damage. The crossmembers and skid plate are each made out of 1/4″ thick steel that’s then powder coated to help resist corrosion.
Complete Rear Suspension Overhaul
To lift the rear of your truck, BDS includes new rear blocks, U-bolts, and nuts that are paired up with longer rear shocks to improve and maintain quality. BDS’ 4″ rear block and u-bolts completely replace the factory rear blocks and effectively level your truck for an even, smooth ride. The kit comes standard with a pair of 2-1/4″ D Fox 2.0 Lift Rear shocks, which are required for 2013-2016 models, that give your Tacoma race-proven quality, handling and control. Each of these kits also includes a new driveshaft spacer, installation instructions, and all of the hardware that you’ll need for installation.
Shocks Fitment: Fox shocks are required for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 models.
Wheel Fitment: This BDS lift kit is not compatible with stock 17″ or 18″ wheels and will require at least an 18×9″or 20×9 wheel with a maximum of 4.50″ of backspace for proper fitment.The largest tire you should use is 35×12.5″ tire.
Some cutting required: this kit requires some cutting of your truck’s subframe for installation.
Vehicle Fitment: this lift kit will only fit 2016 4WD Tacoma & 2WD PreRunner models. It will not work with standard 2WD models or TRD Pro models.
