These shocks boast a nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends for increased strength, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish for long-lasting durability and maximum off-road performance. • This kit is not compatible with trucks equipped with radius arm mounted ride height sensors.
• Ford recommends the replacement of the pitman arm nut after each time it has been removed.
• Use a small pitman arm puller to remove the drag link joint and steering stabilizer taper.
• If your truck is equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required: BDS123402.
• Due to the taller factory ride height, Tremor models will not net full advertised lift height. Final ride height will be the same as standard models.
• Larger tires on stock wheel are not recommended due to interference with brake line, radius arm and sway bar. Use recommended specs listed in wheel and tire fitment section.
• Minor trimming may be necessary for clearance of 37×12.50 tires on certain wheel setups.
• Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 406 ft-lbs.
• Trucks without top mounted overload springs will require (4) UBT4028.
