Castrol Classic EP140 is a high-viscosity, mineral-based gear oil that protects against problems due to oil oxidation, gear corrosion, and wear. Designed for more modern classics, this gear oil caters to cars from the 1970s to 1990s. It is recommended for conventional Spiral Bevel Final drives and Mild Hypoid axles, as well as Spur and Helical gears, and other applications were API: GL-4 or “Castrol Hi-Press” is recommended.
