Safer & More Effective Alternative to Traditional Winch Hooks
Off-road recovery can be dangerous without the proper equipment; conventional winch hooks are not safe and smart. They are too small to safely fit between a recovery strap and rattle against fairleads, which can add stress to your recovery strap, cause slippage or even tears. Factor 55 has a better alternative to make your recovery strap last longer, to keep you safe, and to prevent damage a failed recovery would cause. The lightweight billet 6061 Kaiser Aluminum Factor 55 ProLink, five times stronger than conventional winch hooks, weighs only 1.5 lbs and measures 4.75″ x 4.25″ x 4.25″. The ProLink has a 16,000 lbs max load rating with its sturdy American design. It works with both 3/8″ D steel cables and synthetic ropes. The ProLink safety attaches to a standard 3/4″ screw pin shackle while the rope eye is captured into the body by an oversized 5/8″ 6AI-4V titanium double shear pin. The front of the ProLink also includes the precision shackle mounting hole and a large 1.2″ thick mounting tab, which eliminates “shackle rattle.” An optional EPDM rubber guard protects the ProLink’s Hawse fairleads.
Compatibility w/ Other Products
This product is compatible with Hawse & Roller fairleads. 3/8″ D steel cables or synthetic rope can be run through the ProLink.
