Description
The Jaguar “XK” six-cylinder engine has few weak spots, but one is the leak-prone front crankshaft rope seal fitted to the XK-120, early XK-140 and MK VII. Developed in England, this conversion kit employs a new crankshaft follower ring and a conventional one-piece oil seal. It’s a straightforward modification made with the crankshaft in place; no machining is required. For all XK-120, XK-140 to Engine G.1907 and MK VII “A” and “B” series engines plus D.1001 to D.6722. Oil sump must be removed to install.
